Senior Instrumentation Designer

Job Overview: We're seeking a Senior Instrumentation Designer to join our client's team in Perth. The role involves providing high-quality design and drafting services while ensuring compliance with industry and Australian regulatory standards.
Responsibilities: Deliver design and drafting services on time and within budget, reporting to the Discipline Lead or Project Manager. Coordinate with Workshare teams and other designers to ensure seamless project execution. Support project scoping and budget estimation, working closely with Bid Managers and Lead Engineers. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and project teams. Offer technical support to the project team and participate in process improvement initiatives. Identify and resolve project scope discrepancies, suggesting innovative solutions. Produce, check, and review design documents, including block diagrams, termination diagrams, schematics, loops, P&IDs, and more. Key Criteria: Relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma) in Instrumentation or equivalent experience. Experience in the hydrocarbon industry, with a focus on multi-disciplinary projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation; familiarity with SmartPlant Instrumentation or 3D modelling is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder collaboration.
