Exciting opportunity for Senior Plumbing Inspectors to join the VBA!
Ongoing, full-time position Salary range: $117,718 to $128,897 per annum plus superannuation 242 Exhibition Street Melbourne office location and field based Position overviewWe currently have 2 exciting permanent opportunities that will suit seasoned plumbers to join one of 2 streams within our Inspectorate team.
The Senior Inspector, Plumbing is responsible for undertaking inspections and audits to drive and ensure suitable levels of practitioner compliance with relevant building legislation, codes, and Australian Standards, and the monitoring and enforcement of industry and practitioner performance in meeting compliance obligations.
The Senior Inspector, Plumbing is responsible for providing expert technical plumbing advice and support to a range of internal and external stakeholders, making recommendations and assessing non-compliances to determine a resolution.
The role will function as the senior peer for the unit, mentor and coach other team members, providing development and shadowing opportunities to support the cross-skilling of the team members that are part of each small response unit.
