We are responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance by duty holders in accordance with the WHS Act and Regulation and associated legislation for Dangerous Substances, Workers' Compensation and Labour Hire Licensing. Please reach out to the contact officer and who would be happy to answer any questions you may have.Eligibility/Other requirements: Ability to perform the functions of an authorised Inspector in accordance with all relevant legislation, including completion of required mandatory training for Workers' Compensation legislation as a delegated/appointed person/Authorised officer by the WHS Commissioner.Willingness to: Participate in an after-hours on-call and telephone roster when required.wear a uniform.Participate in programmed after hours compliance activities when required, andUndergo a pre-employment police check.Undergo baseline health monitoring. Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of six months. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
