We are seeking a Senior Injury Management and Psychosocial Wellbeing Adviser to help drive a positive psychosocial culture and foster psychologically safe, healthy environments across our campuses.
In this pivotal role, you will provide expert guidance on injury management, psychosocial hazards and risks, and wellbeing advice and services to staff and external stakeholders at all levels within CQUniversity.
You will play a key role in triaging and responding to reports of psychosocial hazards and risks within the workplace and other mental illness or behaviours that can cause psychosocial harm.
You will operate as the first point of contact for staff who wish to talk to someone about a concern or complaint they have that is affecting their ability to undertake their work (including but not limited to assault, sexual and gender-based harassment, sexual assault, family or domestic violence).
You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders, including University Management, Deans, Directors, AVPs, and Campus Coordinators, fostering strong, positive relationships.
Additionally, you will advise on psychosocial risk assessments to manage psychosocial hazards and risks associated with University operations and activities.
Working closely with the Safety and Wellbeing Manager, you will assist with compliance reporting and contribute to the University's Business Continuity and Crisis Management initiatives.
