A leading global financial institution seeks a Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist for an initial 6 month fixed term contract to support and enhance its critical IT infrastructure in Sydney.
Please note: Only Australian citizens or permanent residents will be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities: VMware & Windows Server Management:  Manage a virtualized Windows and VMware ESXi environment, handling configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Backup & Disaster Recovery:  Implement and oversee Veeam and other DR solutions to ensure business continuity.
Cloud & Legacy Migrations:  Lead transitions of legacy systems to modern environments.
Endpoint & Cybersecurity:  Monitor, manage, and report on endpoint protection and cybersecurity software.
Service Management:  Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, ensuring compliance with incident, change, and release policies.
Qualifications: Experience:  Minimum 5 years in IT infrastructure, with strong Windows and VMware expertise.
Certifications:  VCP, MCSE, or related certifications.
Technical Skills:  Proficiency in Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and VMware Horizon.
Scripting:  PowerShell, Perl, or Python skills preferred.
