Senior Infrastructure Specialist

12 + 12 month contract - Baseline clearance Civic, ACT - Flexible work arrangements HPE, VMWare, PowerShell scripting, Aria AutomationOur client, a large Federal Government department based in Civic, ACT, requires an experienced senior infrastructure specialist for a long 12 + 12 month contract.
This team is responsible for the management of all data centres, virtualization, automation, storage, backup and restore capability. The team is also responsible for providing after hours on-call support for infrastructure.

Duties Managing and improving the virtualization environment and server infrastructure (rack mounted and blade servers).Be accountable for monitoring of the devices managed by the team and automation technology such as Aria Automation.Producing design documents, build documents, operations document, handover and sharing of knowledge.Selection Criteria Experience in few of the following techs: HPE OneView HPE Interconnects HPE DL, BL and Synergy Servers VMware vSphere Site Recovery Manager vRealize Operations vRealize Log InsightScripting and coding experience in: PowerShell PowerCLI.Produce design, build and operations documentation for processes and procedures.Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with skilled technical people, including making presentations.Administering the following: Aria Automation 8.x Aria Orchestrator NSX-T (desirable).To apply for this senior infrastructure specialist role, please click the Apply Now button, to forward your CV to Andy at the Recruitment Hive.
