As the Senior Infrastructure Solutions and Services Specialist, you will bring technical expertise and leadership to the operation and implementation of essential infrastructure services and solutions. Your role will ensure the smooth daily management of Warrigal's IT infrastructure, covering networking, hosting, end-user computing, audio-visual services, and security.
In this position, you will work closely with IT team members and vendors to optimise systems and uphold industry standards. You will monitor network performance, provide technical support to staff, and lead incident response efforts to effectively address any infrastructure issues.
Additionally, you will contribute to project planning and implementation, assist in the design and transition of infrastructure systems, and ensure thorough documentation. Your efforts will not only align with Warrigal's strategic goals but also enhance operational effectiveness and support your ongoing professional development in the ever-evolving IT field.
To be successful you will need: Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Information Technology, or extensive relevant experience in IT infrastructure or systems.Strong practical knowledge of best practice frameworks, including project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2) and IT Service Management (ITSM).Proven ability to collaborate effectively, with experience negotiating outcomes with senior colleagues and teams in areas beyond direct control.Capable of working autonomously while providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members.Experience in designing and maintaining reliable and secure wired and wireless networks to support corporate functions and specialised services.Practical experience in managing and operating cloud environments such as Azure and Amazon Web Services.Significant experience with Microsoft Windows services, including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Intune.Familiarity with technologies such as thin-client devices, VOIP telephony, printing solutions, and Office 365 (including Teams and SharePoint).Understanding of cybersecurity principles with a proven track record of implementing technical controls.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose IT and systems issues.Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral, written, listening, and presentation), teamwork, and customer service skills, along with a commitment to developing and implementing customer-focused solutions.Demonstrated experience supervising consultants and external contractors, taking ownership of systems design and approval processes.Valid NSW driver's license and a willingness to travel to various Warrigal locations as needed.Benefits to you: Competitive pay and NFP salary packaging including up to $15,900 in pre-tax earnings plus $2,650 to contribute towards entertainment benefits each FBT yearCommitment to ongoing professional and career development opportunitiesFlexible working arrangementsCareer break schemes and purchased leaveGet Healthy at Work programAn intentional workplace culture, working with inspiring people who have passion and heartAbout Us: Our workplace culture, what we call The Warrigal Way, is very important to us.
