Senior Infrastructure Officer, Justice and Attorney-General

The positions have operational responsibility to lead, coordinate, plan, deliver and report against significant and high-profile capital and maintenance projects.
The positions report to an AO7 Program Coordinator and may oversee additional resources within the project delivery team as required.
This role will work closely with the Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works (DHLGPPW) and QBuild to deliver capital and maintenance projects.
Lead and co-ordinate delivery of assigned construction and maintenance projects for the department across its state-wide built infrastructure portfolio, ensuring delivery of these services to agreed standards.
Ensure assigned projects and programs of work are managed in accordance with the department's strategy, policies, systems and procedures, and according to the Queensland Government Building Policy Framework - Growth and Renewal, Queensland Government Building Policy Guideline and other relevant whole-of-government policy frameworks.
Optimise alliances and partnerships with key internal/external stakeholders and service providers (e.g., DHLGPPW/QBuild) and contribute to the development and implementation of innovative strategies to meet the department's facilities services requirements.
Identify emerging issues, risks, and priorities that may impact project delivery and proactively respond with strategies to address these impacts.
Monitor, analyse, forecast and report on project performance to ensure project delivery targets are achieved as planned.
Provide advice to the Principal Infrastructure Program Coordinator and branch management regarding assigned infrastructure projects, including delivery status, expenditure forecasts, risks and emerging issues.
Undertake other duties as required to fulfil the objectives of the branch and department.
