You have the confidence to coach and mentor, deliver presentations, have robust conversations without bias and thrive on being challenged while respecting different points of view.Your responsibilities will include:Build and maintain relationships with all business functions to ensure exemplary and solution focused customer service; Set direction and leadership in the introduction of infrastructure planning to deliver future objectives whether being 'Cloud' hosted environments or 'Legacy' on-premise systems; Lead the team, including, setting team direction, creating a team culture that promotes a solution and outcome orientation with a preparedness to"roll up your sleeves" and be part of the solution;Ensure the effective operation of business-as-usual infrastructure systems and support services in accordance with SLAs;Provide effective troubleshooting on all infrastructure technology platforms, present and future deployments;Manage all infrastructure projects and deliver to the demands of all projects and programs; and Maintain the security, availability and performance of Metricon systems.Metricon will offer you:A competitive salary and salary package opportunities;Genuine career advancement opportunities;Generous housing discounts on our award-winning homes;A dynamic team culture where our people produce excellent results; andA supportive workplace culture where great work is recognised and rewarded.The successful candidate will have:10 years minimum in supporting IT infrastructure in a complex environment in terms of diverse locations and environments with 1500+users including both support&projects;Bachelor qualification in Computer Science,or related discipline preferred; Demonstrated experience leading a technical team through to an outcome; Technical expertise across infrastructure&platform hosting technologies in a heavily virtualised hybrid-hosting environment;5+ years hands-on Engineering experience across public cloud platforms;Hands-on engineering experience with migration of systems into public cloud;Experience with network load balancing technologies both for on-premise systems as well as public cloud;Enterprise IT service management including change control, incident management&problem management;Experience supporting Security Information and Event Management products, such as Connectors, Logger, and Enterprise Security Manager (ESM)a plus; Strong technical design, documentation&confidence with communicating and presenting; and Demonstrate previous experience in leading a team of engineers across BAU and transformation.
SKILLS REQUIRED Microsoft Active Directory, o365, SCCM, SQL Server, DHCP, ADFS, Azure Active Directory, Windows Defender, modern server operating systems i.e.
Windows Server 2016&2019.
VMWare Platform Administration AWS and/or Azure skills; and ITIL Certification or understanding of ITIL framework.
