About the role
Reporting to the Manager ICT, the Senior Information Systems Officer will play a vital role in maintaining the City's IT operations, providing hands-on support, and resolving complex technical issues.
Key responsibilities:
Provide Level 3-4 technical support for the IT service desk, troubleshooting advanced issues and escalating, as necessary. Support key business applications, including TechnologyOne, Office365 (including Teams Telephony), Adobe Suite, video conferencing systems, and the City's printer fleet. Manage VMware and Azure virtual environments, ensuring the maintenance of baseline Standard Operating Environment (SOE) images. Lead small to medium size IT projects from inception to completion, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to meet deadlines, budgets, and requirements. Maintain IT governance policies, identify and mitigate IT risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. About the successful candidate
The successful candidate will hold industry certifications or qualifications in Information Technology (or a related discipline), possess excellent customer service skills, demonstrate a collaborative approach, and have a strong understanding of core business software, virtual environments, and IT governance.
Other essential requirements:
Demonstrated technical proficiency with Microsoft Office365, SharePoint Online, Exchange Hybrid, Azure AD, and related operational systems. Proficiency in Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, File Servers, and Group Policies. Minimum of 2 years' experience in an ICT support role, including customer-facing experience. What we offer
This full-time, permanent position offers a salary range of $81,874 to $95,241 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, plus super.
