Our mission is to help more people to hear.18-Month Fixed Term ContractHybrid Work ArrangementExciting New ProjectCochlear is seeking a Senior Information Security Consultant to lead and shape our security strategy, ensuring the protection of our information assets. This role requires translating complex technical concepts into business-friendly language while championing robust information management and security practices with a customer-focused mindset.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic information security leadership to guide business initiatives and solve challenges clearly and effectively.Offer expert guidance on national and international standards and best practices.Lead complex projects to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.Assess technology implementations for compliance with Cochlear and industry standards.Develop solution architecture documentation and secure stakeholder approval.Perform risk assessments and implement cost-effective mitigation strategies.Oversee vulnerability assessments and manage penetration testing engagements.Minimum Qualifications:Over 10 years in IT, including 5+ years in senior information security roles.Must have a CISSP.Strong background in Risk Management, enterprise architecture, and security frameworks.Familiar with ISO 27000, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ITIL, and privacy principles.Expert in Internet and network security systems and tools.Experience with VMware, Microsoft, UNIX, Linux OS, and cloud platforms.Excellent communication skills for engaging and influencing stakeholders.Demonstrated strategic and operational leadership with effective implementation skills.For more details, reach out to Ralph at ******'s mission is to help people hear and be heard.
