Seeking an experienced Senior Information Privacy Advisor for an ongoing role.Opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service.The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Senior Information Privacy Advisor to provide a critical role within Corporate Support and Infrastructure.
About the Business Unit The department delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria. Technology Solutions and Data Security is delivering the Data and Digital Reform Agenda, focusing on meeting the department's data and digital needs.
About the Role Some of your duties will include:
Providing expert advice on privacy policy and practice to senior management and departmental staff.Contributing to the department achieving its privacy compliance obligations.Initiate and maintain compliance programs and activities across the department.About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the privacy-related requirements of the PDPA processes.Knowledge of TRIM Context would be an advantage.Legal or other relevant qualifications in information management are desirable.How to Apply Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
