Records Management & Document Control (Administration & Office Support) Contract/Temp
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Information Management Officer to join a local council in the South East of Victoria.
This temporary position until the 24th December, with the possibility of extension or temp-to-perm offers the chance to be a key player in a critical records management project.

The successful candidate will assist with the migration of information from Objective to Technology One (Tech1), providing essential support during the transition.
The role requires someone who is adaptable, open to change, and experienced in managing high volumes of records and correspondence.
You will also help guide staff through system training and ensure the accurate transfer of data to the new system.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the migration of information from Objective to Technology One (Tech1), ensuring smooth data transfer and integration into the new system.Oversee the administration of the EDRMS, performing systems administration tasks, and ensuring the accuracy of records and documents.Provide support for the records helpdesk, triaging inquiries and assisting with user training on the new system.Develop and deliver training programs on system usage for staff, ensuring efficient adoption of the new platform.Assist with processing high volumes of correspondence and documents, ensuring compliance with organisational standards.Contribute to ongoing improvements and adaptations during the transition to Tech1.About the Ideal Candidate: Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively, supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall success of the project.Adaptable & Open to Change: Comfortable with system changes and ready to support the team during the transition from Objective to Technology One (Tech1).Strong Records Management Knowledge: In-depth understanding of records management processes and the ability to manage high volumes of correspondence efficiently.Experience in Training: Proven ability to guide staff in system usage, ensuring effective and efficient adoption of the new platform.High-Volume Experience: Experience in processing large volumes of records, documents, and correspondence while maintaining accuracy.Government Experience: Previous experience working within a government or state government setting is a must.Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in EDRMS systems (Objective, Technology One Tech1, or similar).Flexible Working: Willingness to work 2 days per week in the office, with flexibility for the remainder of the week.If you are an experienced Senior Information Management Officer with local or state government experience please apply now.
