ABOUT THE ROLEThe Senior Indirect Sourcing Specialist ANZ will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies for indirect categories, managing the end-to-end sourcing process, including market research, RFPs, bids analysis, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring. You will also be responsible for enhancing utilization of Ariba through supplier enablement, E-RFP, contract management, catalogue, and contract purchase orders.Reporting into the APAC Indirect Sourcing Team, you will have the ability to collaborate with sourcing leads across the region.WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?Performing strategic sourcing initiatives and process improvements for ANZ market or any other markets as may be assigned from time to time.Developing and implementing sourcing strategies for indirect categories including (but not limited to) real estate, facilities, IT, marketing, professional services, and travel.Partnering with market stakeholders to identify solutions with a best total value mindset to fit business needs.Managing the end-to-end sourcing process, including market research, MyBuy, RFPs, bids analysis, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Identifying and delivering cost savings, quality improvements, and innovation opportunities.Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.Driving competitive payment terms to increase cash flow gains.Negotiating contracts with suppliers and facilitating legal reviews.Driving the utilization of global indirect sourcing tools and processes including (but not limited to) Ariba, eRFPs, Contract Database, 7-step Sourcing Process, Savings tracking and reporting.Collaborating with sourcing leads across other APAC markets to enhance utilization of Ariba.Working closely with global category managers and regional teams.KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR SUCCESSFunctional KnowledgeRequires in-depth conceptual, practical, and technical and/or functional knowledge of principles and theories in own job function and general understanding of related job functions.Has experience in applying this knowledge in a variety of situations to accomplish work.Business ExpertiseApplies understanding of key business drivers in the context of the organization's industry and how closely related teams integrate with others to accomplish their objectives and drive efficiencies.Problem SolvingSolves a range of problems of varying scope and complexity, generally applying existing solutions, while exercising autonomy to propose alternatives understanding their impact on the business or apply judgment based on experience to develop new solutions.Works independently guided by company policies, guidelines, and procedures, receiving guidance on complex and unprecedented problems.LeadershipSupports team members by setting an example, coaching, and providing feedback and guidance.May lead small projects or project steps with manageable risks and resource requirements.ImpactImpacts quality and effectiveness of customer, operational, project/program or service activities within own team and other related teams.Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.Interactions & CommunicationsExchanges complex information with others, potentially guiding and persuading others.Regularly participates in discussions and presentations in small, cross-functional meetings, logically presenting information to convey key messages.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSA graduate degree or above in a related field.At least 8 - 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in indirect categories.Previous experience in planning, organizing, and executing multiple projects simultaneously, while ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.The ability to communicate effectively, build rapport, and motivate others to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes in complex and dynamic situations.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues creatively and efficiently, using data and logic.Proficiency in MS Office and sourcing tools such as Ariba, Coupa.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
