Fyfes Energy and Resources Group works with major Australian clients to deliver specialist oil and gas, mining, hydrogen and power generation projects across the country. These include upstream flowlines, gas transmission pipelines, processing facilities, conventional and renewable power generation facilities, as well as maintenance and construction related work programs.
With recent growth in the number of projects that we are currently working on across the Future Fuels and Transmission and Distribution sectors, we are looking to bring on a Senior or Principal level Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of these projects.
We are seeking suitably qualified high voltage Engineers, with experience in project delivery, across the energy sector mainly Power Generation and Transmission and Distribution (T&D) projects, both development and delivery, to join Fyfe.
The individual selected for the role will:

Partake in the development of specific project related design deliverables;
Review detailed design documents prepared by subcontractors and equipment suppliers for completeness and compliance to Australian Standards;
Actively participate and engage with clients and support the delivery of projects, as an extension of the client's project delivery team;
Partake in various aspects of project delivery and construction management;
Manage design and procurement processes to ensure that the projects are delivered to the quality and conformance levels expected by our clients;
Have oversight of construction and commissioning where required across projects in execution;
If required, provide site-based support for projects across Australia.

The following minimum qualification or experience is required for the role:

Minimum 7 years' experience in the design and delivery of energy projects in Australia;
An Electrical Engineering degree from a university recognised in Australia;
Experience in the process of generator connection in the NEM for either renewable or conventional projects would be considered favourably;
Experience with undertaking engineering and construction activities required to pull together scopes of work, technical specifications and negotiate with equipment suppliers.
