Reporting to the ICT General Manager, this role will be responsible for the secure design and deployment of the company's ICT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud technologies. As a technical lead for special projects, this role will provide expert guidance and hands-on support to ensure the resilience, performance, and scalability of ICT systems. This is a 12-month fixed-term full-time position based in our Perth CBD office, Western Australia, with hybrid work from home arrangements.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement standards and procedures to ensure the secure and efficient use of the company's ICT infrastructure.Work closely with end users and operations divisions to design and deliver fit for purpose ICT solutions.Collaborate with the service delivery team to monitor ticket resolution and manage escalations.Ensure Service Requests for applications, software, hardware and network systems and user administration are managed as per established processes.Design, implement, and develop maintenance plans for the company's core ICT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud technologies.Ensure all applicable infrastructure components are established and upgraded in line with the company's Information Security and Management System control standards.Monitor the performance and health of ICT infrastructure components to ensure optimal operation.Assess current infrastructure capabilities and develop plans for future capacity needs.Work with the Cyber Security team to design and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans for infrastructure projects.Assist in evaluating and liaising with vendors for infrastructure solutions and services.Collaborate with the Cyber Security team to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the ICT infrastructure.Ensure all infrastructure components comply with internal security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.Act as a technical lead for ICT infrastructure-related projects, guiding teams and ensuring successful project delivery.Develop and maintain project budgets, documentation, and timelines, providing technical expertise to ensure infrastructure projects meet business objectives.Provide technical support and collaborate with stakeholders to implement change management strategies for infrastructure upgrades, deployments, or migrations, ensuring smooth transitions.Identify areas for improvement and assist in continuous service delivery enhancements.Essential Experience: ITIL Certification or demonstrated experience with service management frameworks.Relevant Tertiary or Industry Certified Qualifications (e.g., Microsoft Certifications, Palo Alto PCNSE, Cisco Certified Network Professional).Experience in deploying and troubleshooting complex network environments, including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and connectivity solutions.Strong skills in managing Authentication services including, but not limited to, Active Directory, RADIUS, LDAP, SAML and MFA solutions.Hands-on experience using a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and asset lifecycle management.Cloud platforms expertise, including Azure, or hybrid environments, with experience in cloud security and architecture.Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and infrastructure scalability to support growth.Skilled in project management, time management and problem solving.How to apply At MMA Offshore, we strive to foster a diverse and inclusive environment that empowers all employees to thrive and achieve their full potential.
