12+12+12 Month Federal Government Contract NV1 clearance must be held to apply Onsite full time in central Canberra Our Federal Government Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to support its Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Enhancements Program. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of the program and its associated projects, aligning with the broader ESS objectives and outcomes.
Duties: Coordinate and assist Program Managers and Project Managers (PPMs) in the development, review, management, and dissemination of program and project artefacts, including reports, procurement documents, and communication materials. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the program's scope, schedule, financials, stakeholders, and desired outcomes. Coordinate PPMs to maintain robust records management practices to ensure compliance with organisational policies and standards. Provide secretariat support and coordination for executive level boards/committees. Support PPMs in the procurement of services and resources to support the program. Essential criteria: Demonstrated high performance in supporting complex ICT programs and projects as a Project Coordinator, Project Support Officer, or in a similar role within government and/or large enterprise environments. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in this field is highly regarded. Demonstrated proficiency in stakeholder management and negotiation including the ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organisation, develop professional networks, and build strong working relationships. A proven track record of pro-activeness, professionalism, pragmatism, resilience, and personal integrity in all professional endeavours. Demonstrated experience in managing programs and projects using both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies. Proficiency in utilising Azure DevOps for task management, ensuring efficient tracking and delivery of project milestones.
