Senior ICT Infrastructure Officer
Full-time PermanentCloses: 23 October 2024Details: Under the broad direction of the hub's Director and Assistant Director, the Senior ICT Infrastructure Officer will:
Assist with the operational requirements to support the critical ICT systems and infrastructure ensuring that adequate support is provided throughout their life cycle including service delivery to end users.Support system administration duties in relation to the use, development and implementation of enhancements and upgrades for all critical ICT systems and infrastructure in line with ACT Government requirements.Ensure ICT standards and specifications are adhered to for all ICT infrastructure works.Liaise with vendors, service providers, users, and other technical staff.Support the implementation of projects relating to critical ICT systems and infrastructure.Undertake other duties appropriate to this level of classification that contribute to the Directorate.This position does not involve direct supervision of other staff.Eligibility/Other requirements: This role requires you to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV1 security clearance.Qualifications in ITIL or experience working in an ITIL environment would be an advantage.Knowledge of network communication systems & ICT infrastructure used in health facilities would be an advantage.Experience in the support and management of Health IT systems and infrastructure.This role may require you to be available to work on an out-of-hours roster to support the 24/7 critical nature of the health systems' environment.Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
