What you'll do Take responsibility for managing the alignment of business objectives and technology solutions for new capabilities that will revolutionise the way our customers do business.
Act as the primary point of contact for system users, handle basic service requests, conduct basic troubleshooting, diagnose issues, and escalate unresolved problems to the development team.
Support user experience by gathering requirements, identifying system issues, and communicating requirements and issues to the development team to design relevant technical solutions.
Build and manage stakeholder relationships and implement communication plans.
Take responsibility for reviewing system documentation to ensure completeness and user relevance.
Develop and design system training material to deliver agreed learning outcomes.
Prepare and deliver system training to a variety of users to meet agreed learning outcomes.
Lead local system change management efforts, assist change implementation, and design complex information deliverables to reduce change fatigue.
What we are looking for Experience in communicating with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders in government, academic, or commercial consultancy environments (essential).
Experience in gathering and analysing business requirements and translating them into actionable technical solutions (essential).
National Security, Defence or Public Sector employment or consulting experience (preferred).
Experience in designing, developing and reviewing complex information deliverables, including learning and development outputs and system documentation (exposure).
Experience in first-line system administration, including diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues, and the effective elevation of unresolved issues (exposure).
Due to the nature of our projects and clients, applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold and be able to maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance of NV2 (PV preferred).
Ability to work in high security environments, such as the Headquarters, Joint Operations Command (HQJOC).
The initial project will require 3-4 days onsite at HQJOC in Bungendore, NSW per week.
Depending on project workloads, onsite days may include the ability to work from other locations during the day.
Skills that will be helpful Tertiary Qualifications (degree, diploma, advanced diploma) Able to clearly communicate technical concepts, both in writing and verbally, to a diverse audience of technical and non-technical users, internal teams, and executives.
Capable of working efficiently both in a small-team office setting and remotely, with minimal supervision, leveraging collaboration tools to deliver technical solutions and training outcomes.
Able to develop and deliver basic system training to software users, both online and in-person.
