The Opportunity: Lead flood modelling activities on infrastructure projects;Responsible for overseeing the design, coordination and project reporting on hydraulic projects within the infrastructure space to meet the program, scope, quality and financial requirements while achieving positive design outcomes;Work on various scales of projects across the life cycle – concept, design & construction, management, assessment and end of life;Engaging with government clients, contractors and project stakeholders to drive outstanding service delivery;Provide effective leadership, direction, technical advice and champion a culture of delivering on quality and client expectations;Provide mentorship to junior flood modellers;Role model our expected quality and OH&S behaviours both within project delivery and on the job.What you bring: Technical leadership skills, with a focus on infrastructure projects;5 - 10 years experience in flood modelling, surface water and river flooding;An extensive knowledge of GIS, TUFLOW, DRAINS;An additional knowledge of 12D or other civil works packages;A knowledge of flood related planning approvals;A knowledge of Australian Rainfall and Runoff is essential.Why join us: We're a friendly bunch who are passionate about our work.
