An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced Hydrology Consultant to join SLR's Hydrology & Hydrogeology discipline in Perth. Our 50 plus person Hydrogeology and Hydrology (H&H) Technical Discipline is one of the largest in SLR APAC. We currently have a great career opportunity for an experienced Hydrologist looking for that next step in their career. You will be working very closely with the multidisciplinary consultants within our Perth office as well as the rest of the Hydrogeology & Hydrology consultants across APAC to deliver quality services to our Western Australia and National clients. Key Responsibilities Job tasks & Responsibilities
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders across the region and provide you with the support on your technical growth within the wider SLR team. With a passion for Hydrology you will work with likeminded individuals, whilst enjoying excellent career opportunities across a range of industry sectors. As a self-starter, you will be able to display confidence and high-level project management, tenders/proposals preparation, data analysis and interpretation, and reporting. Additionally, you would be expected to work with the team to identify opportunities for growth, leading with team resourcing and development, and act as a professional role model for staff across the team with a caring and compassionate nature.


Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have: 7-15 years' experience, ideally within a consulting environment Professional qualifications and experience related to surface water discipline (BSc, BEng) Experience in urban water management, wastewater management plans, nutrient rich water application to soils, water balance modelling Surface water modelling skills Experience with BUWM, NIMP's and SSE's favourable Understanding of WA's water regulatory requirements favourable Basic understanding on primary nutrient management in water and soil Understanding of ARR 2019, SPP 2.9 and ADWG 2022 would be well received Experience in a range of industry market sectors Good report writing GIS skills would be favourable Our benefits at SLR include
