Senior Hydrological Analyst | Full-Time Temporary

Senior Hydrological AnalystFull-time TemporaryDetails: The ACT Office of Water is seeking an experienced and motivated data analyst to join the Water Information Services section to aid in the delivery of the Water Resource Assessment (WRA) project and other research/analytical projects to support water policy development.You will work closely with the Office of Water team of modellers, analysts and policy officers to develop solutions to new and emerging water management issues in the ACT and region.
This role will involve analysing hydrological and climate data, including future climate projections; developing analyses based on policy needs; developing and implementing analytical scripts (e.g.
R); synthesising and communicating outputs and recommendations to a range of audiences, both lay and technical.
This role will also involve designing and undertaking other project development and analytical tasks to support policy around Basin Plan review.
