Senior Human Resources Business Partner  Permanent Full Time Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight $95,671 - $99,656 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 5) + Superannuation Location – Rockhampton Your new role Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for driving organisational success through people?  If so, Council has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to become an integral part of our team.  As part of our team as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organisation's growth and development, playing a key role in shaping our workforce and culture, and championing our values.  Using your broad range of HR experience, you will be able to provide expert advice and guidance to our management groups on all HR related matters, relevant legislation, certified agreements, awards, policies and procedures, Recruitment, performance management, and employee relations. This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check). What we are looking for A people focused individual with demonstrated experience in a contemporary Human Resource practice, interpretation of legislation and industrial instruments and demonstrated ability to apply these. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation. Ability to partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that promote a welcoming and respectful workplace for all employees. Degree qualifications in a relevant field (Human Resources, Business, Law) or related discipline and / or extensive experience working in a HR Operational role within a diverse, multi-disciplined organisation.
