About the role This is an exciting time for the organisation as they embark on a year of change and transformation. The Senior Business Partner will play an integral role in supporting the business in its response to the market challenges and opportunities, acting as a commercial partner, working to deliver their vision, values and people strategy. This role will be based in their Brisbane headquarters with some travel required weekly and will report into the Manager of HR Business Partnering. The primary purpose of the Senior Human Resources Business Partner position is to deliver and support processes and programs and provide best practice human resources advice and solutions to the leaders and employees. In partnership with the Manager of HR Business Partnering, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner will work collaboratively with the organisation to identify HR issues, implement effective solutions, and be instrumental in developing the People strategy. This role will be busy, interesting and fulfilling, covering a myriad of generalist duties: Influence and provide generalist advice and support on operational HR matters across the full employee lifecycle, including, but not limited to: current employment legislation and awards; employee relations and industrial relations; workforce planning; recruitment & talent management; engagement & retention; personnel performance management; and change management. Plan, develop and deliver key processes and programs, and provide fit for purpose people initiatives across the organisation in service to the strategic business plan; Provide generalist advice and support to leaders and employees through effective communication, interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures; Participate in HR projects and broader organisation projects as required; Be a HR champion for change, identifying fit for purpose improvement opportunities; and Provide guidance as needed to employee committees. Ideally you will bring to the role: Cultural alignment with the organisation's values; Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or a related discipline; 10+ years HR generalist experience with a strong exposure to: Attraction and retention programs; Leading and developing direct reports; Compensation and benefits; Employee engagement surveys and strategies; Implementation of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements; Complex performance management and disciplinary processes; and Workforce planning, workforce redesign and organisational change. Demonstrated ability in building positive relationships with leaders, confidently coaching and influencing stakeholders with a strong customer focus.
