What can our construction projects build for you?

CPB Contractors along with our industry partners has been selected as preferred proponent to deliver two major packages for the Cross River Rail Projects: the Tunnel, Stations and Development (TSD) package and the Rail, Integration and Systems (RIS) package.
Cross River Rail is a new 10.2 kilometre rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills, which includes 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and the CBD.

The RIS package is crucial to the overall delivery and success of Cross River Rail, and its integration with the Queensland Rail network.
RIS will be delivered by the UNITY Alliance which brings CPB Contractors, UGL, AECOM and Jacobs together with partners HASSEL, RCS Australia, Acmena, Martinus Rail and WIRED Overhead Solutions to deliver the full scope of works over the next five years.

About the Opportunity Based on site at Herston, reporting to the HR Manager, the Senior HR Advisor will be responsible for supporting the operational HR requirements of the project and ensuring the effective delivery of HR services.

Responsibilities include: Provide generalist HR support to the project team Provide advice, coaching and support to managers to facilitate contemporary HR, IR and ER practices Ensure the learning and development needs of the project are identified and addressed Provide support and advice to leaders to ensure participation in performance management initiatives Management of project based initiatives to attract, retain and grow our talented team About you This position requires a self-starter, team player and someone who thrives on a fast paced and varied role.
Your technical ability will be supported by your excellent work ethic, commitment to safety and proven ability to build strong relationships with internal clients.
In addition, you will have:
Hold a tertiary qualification in HR or a related field Previous experience in a similar industry will be highly regarded Significant experience in a similar generalist capacity Solid knowledge of modern IR & HR legislation and practices ```
