This position reports to the Head of Operations.
About The Role ISO Accreditation Maintain and retain Myuma's ISO accreditation. ISO Standards: 45001–2018; 14001 –2016; 9001–2018 and Right Fit For Risk (ISO 27001).Work with our company partners in developing and implementing policies that underwrite our ISO accreditation updates and policies that maintain our processes.Maintain audit processes to ensure the integrity of the ISO is not compromised.Work with senior and Regional Managers to ensure compliance is being adhered to.Key Responsibilities Provide leadership across the organisation in coordinating and overseeing the development, maintenance, enhancement and implementation of the Myuma Group's OH&S, Environmental and Quality management systems.Ensure compliance with all applicable legislative and other regulatory standards and client-based requirements.Ensure ISO Accreditation standards are maintained within the organisation.Ensure that Myuma Group employees and contractors are trained in, and operate according to, the management system requirements.Create, monitor and review Myuma's QA documents and system.Develop and coordinate the provision of appropriate programs for site inductions, training, medical assessments, clearances and reviews.Coordinate the provision and supply of services and equipment to Myuma Group employees and contractors.Develop and implement a regular program of workplace inspections, internal audits and external audits.Manage the documentation, investigation and reporting of all work-related incidents.Analyse and report to the Myuma Group's Executive Team in relation to the performance and continuous improvement of the management system.Assist with the preparation of tenders and other business submissions.Organise, chair and minute regular Management meetings.Fulfil the responsibilities of the Rehabilitation & Return to Work Coordinator.Develop and maintain an organisational environment and culture which prioritises the workplace for all Myuma Group staff.Actively participate within a team environment and promote a discrimination-free workplace culture.Minimum Requirements Minimum 5 years' + experience in a similar position.Minimum Certificate IV Workplace Health & Safety (tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety preferred).Certificate IV Training & Assessment and Environment.Demonstrated experience in the management of a diverse HSEQ environment.Comprehensive understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks.Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, maintain, improve, communicate and promote HSEQ management systems.Demonstrated ability to manage workplace incident reporting.Demonstrated ability to coordinate and evaluate training and induction programs.Demonstrated experience in the day-to-day supervision of staff.Demonstrated capacity to lead a diverse team.Current Queensland driver's licence.Previous experience with Civil Construction and Mine works is highly desirable.Other Skills and Attributes: High level interpersonal skills.Strong written and oral communication skills.Strong organisational and time management skills.Strong leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.Sound and accurate judgment in business and interpersonal contexts.Ability to communicate with Indigenous Australians.Intermediate-level skills in use of Microsoft Office applications.What We Promise Work with a sustainable value-based pioneering Aboriginal organisation.Work closely with both Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.Be a key member of an innovative and committed team.A high performing provider and career advancement.What We Can Offer Accommodation in a shared unit (single person only) in Mount Isa or Commonweal Camp.Paid travel from major cities in QLD.5 weeks annual leave.This position can be DIDO, FIFO or local.How to Apply To apply for this role, submit your Cover Letter and CV via Seek.
