Snapshot of your new day-to-day Lead our HSE Managers and the broader HSE teamImplement an evolving strategic plan for the HSE verticalRisk management including safety in design, project planning, high-risk activity workshops, SWMS, SOPs, and PPEOversee the HSE Management System, audits, and compliance (e.g. ISO and OFSC)Provide expertise and advice on legislative and regulatory matters pertaining to HSEManage stakeholder relationships and issues raised by regulatory bodies, clients and suppliersEnsure conformance for HSE Plans per project team by way of observations and inspectionsPartake in weekly HSE Walks and ensure raised issues are rectified by project teamsDrive development of Hammertech for maximum effectiveness and efficiencyRaise gaps and opportunities with the project team for improving training and competencySteer continuous improvement programs and initiativesEnsure effective handling of incident management, investigations, and reportingContribute to environmental management and monitoringSteer client engagement and reporting requirementsInvolvement with tender submissions, providing HSE advice as requiredFoundation for your success in the role Genuine passion for safetyRelevant tertiary qualifications in WHS or equivalent (Degree or Diloma)Current White CardExtensive HSE experience in the construction industryBackground of leading medium-to-large scale HSE team operationsCapacity to implement strategic plans and continuous improvementThorough understanding of relevant regulations and standardsProven experience with conducting HSE assurance activities such as auditsUnderstanding of OFSC requirementsAdvanced working knowledge of Hammertech (or equivalent system)Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, attention to detail, influencing, presentation, interpersonal and communication skillsHighly motivated with a 'can do' attitudeWe are the destination for your career in construction Kapitol is revolutionising the construction industry by embracing cutting-edge digital technology, driving innovation, and prioritising quality, safety, and workplace culture to create a future where construction is more productive, safe, and sustainable.
