Job Summary This is an exciting time to join All Rubber as we transition through a period of significant growth and expand our business, with several exciting business opportunities underway.
Based in Perth, we are looking for a proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative individual to lead the HSEQ function across the business.
We are looking for an individual who is confident in their approach, hands-on, and willing to work on the ground with the operational teams to achieve the Company's HSE objectives and goals.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the HSEQ Advisor will provide support and advice on HSEQ opportunities, concerns, and improvement initiatives within the organisation.
This role requires an experienced individual who has had exposure to providing strategic direction, defining and improving safety management systems and processes, and can influence, coach, and mentor Managers and staff on HSEQ matters to drive improvement and change.
This position is ideal for an experienced Senior HSEQ Advisor with a background in resources or industrial environments, who enjoys autonomy and diversity in their day to day, and who is looking to take on a new challenge, with an opportunity to shape the safety direction for the Company.
Key responsibilities include: Enhance and promote safety culture through maintaining visibility and striking rapport with members of the workforce across all product lines and business services.Represent the Company to external stakeholders, communicating with clients and providing support to the workforce to enhance client relationships.Demonstrate clear safety leadership throughout the organisation and provide advice, coaching, and mentoring in HSEQ matters within the workforce at all levels.Identify and report hazards and risks relative to All Rubber's operations and develop strategies to mitigate risk.Develop, implement, and embed systems and processes in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 and meet the intent of ISO 14001 requirements.Provide support to maintain local certification to customer requirements.Monitor compliance with legal requirements and ensure internal procedures are aligned to local legislation and maintain legal compliance registers.Proactively support, develop, and maintain HSEQ procedures for All Rubber.Conduct HSEQ internal audits, supplier audits, and inspections/tours at company facilities.Conduct and lead incident investigations, with the support of Management.Develop, coordinate, and deliver HSEQ training programs and priority communications to the workforce and management.The successful candidate will have: Experience within a HSEQ leadership role.Proven skills to provide guidance, support, and direction to the workforce.Current knowledge of WHS legislation, standards, and industry practices.The ability to evaluate and assess operations, respond to changing needs, and utilise assigned resources and networks to achieve outcomes.Motivation and experience to support the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of business activities.Experience in identifying opportunities to improve HSEQ performance and development of strategies to foster a safety-focused culture.Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and other stakeholders.IT/Computer proficiency.Flexibility in work hours, and some regional travel is required.As a valued employee of the company, we will provide you with: Friendly work environment with great opportunities for career challenges and growth.Competitive remuneration package.The opportunity to take charge of the HSEQ function and make a significant difference.We can only accept applications from individuals who have the right to work in Australia.
