Your Role: As a Senior Human Resources Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the payroll management and supporting classical HR processes and serving as a consultant for various HR-related matters.
Your responsibilities will encompass managing employee inquiries, data management, collaboration with finance teams, and fulfilling HR duties in regards to RTW and Workcover administration.
Additionally, you will provide support and expertise in HR practices and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities: Payroll ManagementResponsibility of full end to end management of payroll function across Australia piloting the collaboration with a payroll provider.Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, super, bonus, allowance and other remuneration to all staff.Calculate and complete ad hoc payroll processing requirements including back-payments, bonus payment, termination payments, redundancies, LSL, parental leave, etc as required.Manage the setup of new employees, action changes to employee files upon direction from managers and/or in accordance with employment contracts, including changes of award classification, employment status, remuneration, location, super details, etc.Coordinate with finance team to guarantee precise and timely processing of payroll, including adjustments, deductions, and adherence to tax regulations.Be accountable for the company's payroll and wage compliance.Ensure the Company is compliant with all relevant Australian regulations and employment legislation.Employee Life cycle managementManagement of the total employee life cycle and HR operational activities in collaboration with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition Business Leaders.Prepare all relevant documents, forms, and contracts and ensure timely collection of information and coordination with relevant departments.Maintain the company organisational unit in human resources information system.Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.Act as local Training and Development point of contact to facilitate global to local implementation of the Group Offer Catalogue, including collecting business needs and logistics.RTW & Workcover administration:Under the guidance of the RTW coordinator, be the first point of contact for the employee and insurer for any RTW administrative matters.Data Management, Reporting & Compliance:Oversee requests from various stakeholders ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.In collaboration with the HRBP & HR Director, perform internal policies update and ensure policies measures are reflected into our HR systems and Payroll process.Generate and distribute HR reports and analytics to facilitate management decision-making and monitor key HR metrics.Stakeholder Management:Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR business partners, finance teams, and external vendors, ensuring streamlined HR operations and support.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR projects and initiatives, providing HR expertise and guidance as necessary.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.5-7 years of experience in HR roles with a focus on classical HR processes, consulting, and HR Business Partner responsibilities, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life science industry.Strong understanding of payroll processes, award interpretation, HRIS systems, wage compliance, RTW, Workcover process and data privacy regulations.Excellent communication, solution-oriented mindset, and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders.What we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
