A new opportunity for a Senior HR Business Partner to play an integral role in supporting our Government and Defence division.
As Senior HR Business Partner you will acts as a trusted partner, to senior leaders and managers, providing expert guidance and support on all aspects of people management and navigate a blend of strategic and operational components, ensuring HR initiatives align with business goals and driving positive employee relations.
As Senior HR Business Partner you will:
Support the execution of the BU HR strategy and solutions in support of both short-term and long term business goals
Support the change agenda within assigned client group (as part of TLT-led transformation agenda)
Implement HR strategies to enable the organisation to thrive through periods of change, e.g., acquisition, bids and tenders, internal growth, integrations, reorganisation activities and HR projects as required.
Implements HR plans and programs related to organisational design, development and change, capability building, and culture
Provides 'hands on' group and one-on-one coaching to assigned client groups to support business decision-making and general problem solving, human capital management, leadership/performance development
To be successful in this role, you will be able to build strong trust and credibility with the business, have a desire to support business growth and will have a track record of business partnering experience. 
What you'll bring to the role 7-10+ years' experience in human resources, with solid business partnering experience
Strong knowledge and demonstrated application of Australian employment law and Modern Awards.
Strong foundation in a broad range of contemporary HR principles & practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills capable of engaging and building trusted relationships.
Capacity to work well under pressure with competing priorities and time constraints.
Proficient with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday, Oracle, SAP) & Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Bachelor's level in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or a business-related discipline
