As a Senior HR Officer you'll be the go-to expert providing dedicated, end-to-end support to senior leaders and staff. You'll play a crucial role in guiding the organisation through recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
In this role, you'll have the chance to shape Council's workforce strategies and make a real impact, ensuring high levels of staff engagement, professional development, and employee satisfaction. You'll be a trusted advisor for everything HR-related.
What You Bring to the Role
Proven expertise across all areas of Human Resource Management, including recruitment, performance management, and industrial relations.
Strong knowledge of relevant HR legislation, awards, agreements, and policies.
Ability to research, analyse, and provide strategic HR recommendations.
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources (or equivalent), while not essential, will be highly regarded.
Experience in HR within a large or complex organisation, especially local government, is an advantage.
