Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)
As the Country Senior HR Manager for ANZ, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR strategies to support our business goals. Reporting directly to the Managing Director for ANZ, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations and admin within ANZ while being guided by our Regional HR Director for APAC. This role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of local labor laws, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for fostering a positive work environment.
The total staff strength in ANZ is around 100+ with 2 direct reports reporting into the Senior HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Planning & Business Partnering: Collaborate with the senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring the effective utilization of resources. Talent Acquisition and Retention: Lead the recruitment process for certain roles while working with the Regional TA for certain target group positions. Develop and implement effective retention strategies to reduce turnover and enhance employee engagement. Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Promote a positive work culture built on respect, fairness, and open communication. HR Policies and Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and company standards. Stay abreast of changes in regulations and ensure HR practices remain legally compliant. HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR metrics and data analysis to assess HR effectiveness, identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Prepare regular reports for management review. Employee Engagement and Wellness: Drive initiatives to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee engagement. Implement wellness programs and activities to promote employee well-being. Training and Development: Identify training needs within the organization and develop initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Implement performance management systems to support ongoing feedback and development. Office Administration: Position Requirements & Key Abilities:
Experience: Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in HR, including at least 5 years in a managerial role. Labor Law Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance across HR practices. Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization. Strategic HR Mindset: Skilled at translating HR strategies into actionable plans that align with business objectives. Technical Proficiency: Experienced in using HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certification is a plus. Integration Experience: Previous experience in post-merger HR integration is an advantage. Key Personal Attributes:
