About the role
As our Senior HR Consultant, you will:
· Provide strategic human resource advice and support to deliver practical business outcomes and ensure quality people management practices.
· Maintain knowledge and awareness of current human resources practices and systems, industrial instruments, and emerging trends to ensure compliance and/or provide recommendation for continuous improvement.
· Provide advice and deliver practical services across a range of HR responsibilities including:
o Workforce planning and change management strategies
o Performance and behaviour management strategies
o Recruitment and selection activities
o Conflict resolution
o Conditions of employment
o Rehabilitation services
o Staff learning and development
· Supervise and support the team to achieve results aligned with approved work plans and objectives.
· Analyse employee data to address individual and broader workforce issues, define risks and present evidence-based solutions to support decision making processes.
· Contribute to human resource capability across the workforce through the design, development and delivery (online and face-to-face) of training, procedures, guidelines and resources.
· Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to support human resource initiatives and meet desired outcomes.
· Research, review and prepare reports, briefs, submissions and other correspondence in accordance with departmental requirements.
· Participate in human resource projects and working groups to ensure outcomes are delivered within agreed timeframes and meet business and client's needs.
· Contribute to team cohesiveness and capability through participation in professional development opportunities and promotion of a positive environment, respectful of the views of others.
What you will bring
• While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in human resources/ employee relations from a recognised tertiary institution, would be well regarded.
• Experience using the Aurion Employee Self Service application and Springboard.
