About Human Resources
Fidelity's HR team in the Asia Pacific Region consists of professionals comprising of HR Business Partners, Talent, Compensation & Benefits, and an HR Support team working together to provide an HR service to the business colleagues across the Region.
About the role
As the country HR business partner, you will have oversight for all aspects of human resources for our people in Australia.
You will collaborate with local leadership (Australia Senior Leadership Team, "ASLT") to develop HR strategies aligned with our business goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesWork with the ASLT to translate the business strategy into people-focused initiatives.Work with managers to understand motivation and retention issues, developing and implementing solutions.Provide HR insights and solutions in close communication with global HR and regional HR team.Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and legislative changes in Australia.Represent FIL at industry Heads of HR roundtable.Employee RelationsManage complex employee relations issues, engaging with managers to address issues in a timely manner.Coach and build capability of managers to handle situations.Support the resolution of employee relations matters.Review existing policies and procedures with HR Legal.Organizational DevelopmentWork with regional HRBPs and managers to identify opportunities for efficiency improvement.Partner with ASLT to review trends from employee surveys.Compensation & BenefitsIdentify market trends and recommend potential adjustments to the Rewards team.Provide recommendations and insights during the year-end compensation review process.Training and DevelopmentEnsure regular talent discussions take place as part of management meetings.Support and coach managers in having honest conversations with their teams.Identify and facilitate suitable learning options.Resourcing and Talent PlanningWork with the Talent Acquisition team in recruitment processes.Support business managers in the induction and onboarding of new staff.Support Early Careers Program's assessment centres and ongoing management.Feel rewarded
