The Senior HR Business Partner role is a critical position within Rest's People Partnering & Advisory team.
Reporting directly to the Head of People Partnering & Advisory, the successful candidate will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:
Strategically develop and implement talent, culture, reward, and capability strategies, processes, and procedures to achieve organisational objectives.
Provide expert advice and support to leadership on crucial policy matters, including:
Workforce managementRecruitment and talent retentionEmployee development and engagementPerformance management and goal settingEmployee relationsCollaboration and teamwork enhancementOrganisational design and structureDeliver constructive feedback and provide targeted coaching to leaders, with the aim of:
Enhancing leadership capabilitiesFostering strong working relationshipsImproving team moraleIncreasing employee retention rateCollaborate effectively with People & Culture Centres of Excellence to ensure a coordinated approach in implementing strategic projects.
Analyse and disseminate pertinent data and people insights to respective leadership teams, facilitating informed decision-making.
Actively participate in committee, team, and cross-functional meetings as required, representing the People Partnering & Advisory function.
This role demands a high level of professionalism, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and drive change across the organisation.
QualificationsQualifications in human resources management or equivalent demonstrated experiencePrevious experience in the Financial Services industry (e.g.
superannuation, insurance, banking, wealth management) strongly desirableProven ability to challenge constructively and provide real-time feedbackExtensive experience in People & Culture functions, including:Business partnering and coachingChange management and cultural integrationEmployee relations and performance managementTalent strategy and remunerationStrong understanding of relevant legislation and regulationsAdditional InformationOur benefits have been designed so you can tailor your experience with us and include:
