With a detailed understanding of the business, operating environment and culture, the role partners with the business with a focus on providing timely and fit for purpose tactical and strategic people management solutions.The Senior HR Business Partner also leads or contributes to cross business projects and programs of work, linked to the OneFPH strategy that require critical thinking, planning and collaboration across the People and Brand team.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with leaders to coach and provide advice and pragmatic solutions across the full employee lifecycle;Work with the business to identify barriers to success and achievement of the strategic agenda and drive complex initiatives to enable the business to meet and exceed forecasted outcomes, partnering with leaders to lead change initiatives;Manage people risk and mitigation as well as accelerate complex HR issues to the Group HR Manager and Senior Leadership Team as required;Operate as a key member of business unit leadership teams and develop a deep understanding of strategy and operations;Continuously contribute to the review the HR service model and alignment between people management strategies and business policy and procedures, working with IR / ER to update each as required;Provide people based analytics and insights to forecast workforce trends and requirements, to improve business performance, cost and engagement;Collaborate with the HR team in the identification and development of talent and talent programs across the FPH Group;Be the first point of contact and manage performance, conduct and industrial relations matters, escalating as required to the Group HR Manager and / or the Group IR / ER Manager;Lead or contribute to cross business projects that support delivery of the People and Brand and Business Strategy; andAttend relevant industry networking events to build and strengthen external networks and keep abreast of emerging technologies, tools and opportunities.About youYour skills and experience will include -Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Law or Organisational Psychology and / or equivalent level of skill and knowledge gained through experience with a complex HR environment;Knowledge of contemporary HR practices;Knowledge of awards, industrial instruments and legislation and employee relations matters;Advanced strategic thinking and analytical skills (including ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative information);Advanced stakeholder management, coaching and mentoring skills;Advanced change leadership skills; andHighly developed skills in building collaborative partnerships internally and externally.Flinders Port Holdings know that people are central to everything that we do.
