About the role We currently have an opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our team, supporting the Whyalla Steelworks operations. This role reports directly to the HR Manager for Liberty Primary Steel and works closely with operational leadership and stakeholders.This opportunity would suit an experienced HR professional at a Senior Advisor or HR Business Partner level seeking a business partnering opportunity, with or without heavy industry experience.As a business partner, face to face engagement with stakeholders is essential. We would support relocation to Whyalla or can offer a FIFO arrangement with Adelaide as point hire. A minimum of 3 days onsite in Whyalla would be required.Key responsibilities:Build and foster strong relationships across operational business unitsProvide solid HR advice and solutions at both a strategic and tactical levelProvide advice, guidance and support on employee and industrial relations issues, including investigations, issue resolution, performance management and EA interpretationDrive annual HR processes including performance and remuneration review cycles, talent mapping and succession planning framework and processes, employee engagement survey and workforce planningLead your own projects, suitable to your skills and experienceAbout your experience To be successful in this role you will have a high level of emotional intelligence with ability to influence and engage with individuals across all levels.
