About Our Client My client are located in the southern suburbs of Perth and are within the defense industry. This role has the opportunity to contribute to the Australian business, as well as play an integral part in the global narrative. My client work within a unionised sector and require someone with this experience to support in this space.
Job Description Requirements and Responsibilities: Work closely with other HR Business Partners globally, share best practices, and contribute to a cohesive HR strategy across regions. This role is also a leadership role and will require an experienced people leader to joinExcellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to work across different time zones and accommodate flexible hours for meetings, including occasional 8 pm sessions.Contribute to the evolution of HR services by building employee confidence, implementing wider HR strategies, and adapting policies to fit the needs of both UK and Australian operations.Refine HR processes, enhance employee handbooks, and lead initiatives to improve psycho-social health and welfare across the organisation.The HR Business Partner will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships with unions, demonstrating strong negotiation skills, and working towards mutually beneficial outcomesAddress the learning and development of the business in the Australian region to support organisational growth and employee satisfactionGeneralist employee relations and other performance management and development duties are also requiredSupport with the role out of a HRIS across the company The Successful Applicant I am looking for someone with minimum of 5 years business partnering experience, and someone who has managed people. I am looking for someone with demonstrated ER/IR experience. It would be ideal if this person has worked in a matrix structure historically and understands global operations
