Salary packaging available!About the RoleThe HR and Workplace Relations Group is a team of seasoned professionals with extensive expertise in helping businesses ensure their workplaces are legally compliant, safe, and productive.
With a hands-on, solutions-focused approach, we provide practical advice and services that empower WA businesses to thrive.This position reports directly to the Manager, HR & Workplace Relations Consultancy.In this role you will have the opportunity to leverage your generalist HR expertise to support clients across a diverse range of industries, business sizes, and models.
If you're passionate about driving business success and thrive on variety in your work, we'd love to hear from you.This is a full-time, temporary parental leave cover position for 12 months that will be based in the Perth CBD office.Key responsibilities include:Providing tailored solutions covering multiple areas of HR, including learning and development, remuneration and benefits, ER, organisational development, change management, wage auditing against Awards and agreements, design and delivery of workplace training both at CCIWA and at client offices, diversity and inclusion, and recruitment.Achieving financial targets.Delivering high-quality technical work and client management.Active participation in business development activities including:Regularly attending networking functions to promote training and workplace relations services.Preparation of high-quality presentations or articles that are relevant to existing and prospective clients.Inviting members to and attending CCIWA events.Building a repeat client base by managing relationships with existing clients.Building awareness of the HR & Workplace Relations Consultancy through networking, strategic initiatives, and partnering with marketing on campaigns and content.Actively identifying opportunities to collaborate with other members of the Workplace Relations Team and other CCIWA Business Units to maximise the value we deliver to members.Coaching and mentoring junior team members in technical matters.About YouSuccess in this role will come from your ability to collaborate effectively, your enthusiasm for HR, and your capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.You also will have:Bachelor and/or Tertiary degree in a relevant field such as HR/IR/ER or Law.Proven success in a similar role, ideally operating at a consultancy level.Previous experience providing operational and strategic HR support.Proven experience in conducting HR audits and analysing HR metrics.Strong ability to communicate, influence and negotiate effectively.Knowledge of Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and the Australian Industrial Relations system.In-depth knowledge of Human Resource organisational policies and generalist HR best practices.Self-motivation and drive to achieve financial targets.Outstanding time management and ability to manage competing demands to meet tight deadlines.Ability to handle complex issues and provide practical solutions.Strong commercial acumen and belief in supporting WA businesses.Police Clearance.Drivers Licence.About CCIWACCIWA is an independent, not-for-profit, Member-based organisation that has been committed to advancing trade and commerce in WA for more than 130 years.
