Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HR Advisor with a focus on ER/IR to join our growing team at the Perth Airport. This is a newly created full-time permanent opportunity, with the possibility of part-time for the right candidate. This position reports to the Head of HR located in Perth.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high quality industrial and employee relations advice and servicesProvide advice on the interpretation of legislation, awards, and Agreements.Conduct negotiations dealing with industrial relations matters, including Enterprise Bargaining negotiations and provide industrial advocacy services before the Fair Work Commission and other Tribunals.Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.Provide professional senior level, strategic and operational HR advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation.Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the HRM to develop solutions, programs, and policies.Identify training needs for business units as required. Evaluate and monitor the success of all development programs.Undertake project work or HR initiatives as directed by the HRM e.g. Workplace Gender Equality Reporting.Keep updated templates and ensure Standard Operating procedures are implemented where possible in relation to HR procedures and practices.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Tertiary qualified in HR or related area or at least 6 years experience in HR or related field.Experience in negotiating Enterprise Bargaining Agreements is mandatory.Experience in interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements to provide advice to managers and employees.Experience in providing advice to managers and employees in all aspects of human resources, employee, and industrial relations.Experience in coaching/counselling employees.Project management particularly in managing a HR-related project from beginning to end.Analytical skills.Sound computer skills in Microsoft applications.What's in it for youNJE encourage work-life balance with our employeesRex Group Staff travel benefits.As part of the REX group of companies, staff discounts and privileges apply, including, Health Clubs and Hotels.A company that values each employee offering professional growthAbout usNational Jet Express acts as a critical link in the energy and resources sector, providing fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) services in support of mining, oil and gas projects throughout Australia.
