We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Advisor to work with our large project teams in South Australia. Based in the metro suburbs of Adelaide, this is a role which offers great flexibility, career opportunities and many other perks!
Reporting direct to the Regional Human Resource Manager as well as the relevant Project Managers, this is an excellent opportunity for ownership of all strategic and transactional HR matters specific to the projects, whilst being supported by the greater McConnell Dowell Group Human Resources team.
The position of Senior Human Resource Advisor will work across various projects, furthermore, offering career development opportunities that may present within the wider McConnell Dowell Group.
This is a busy and rewarding role, working closely with your team, the business and our clients to ensure the best outcome. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Providing high level advisory support to managers and staff across the projects and delivering human resources activities in line with McConnell Dowell's Global Operating Standards (GOS).Facilitating and developing the workforce planning process that supports our mobilisation, demobilisation and redeployment process. Supporting the work activities of Recruitment Advisor to ensure end-to-end recruitment is efficiently and effectively executed. Acting as a first point of escalation and resolution for HR related queries, issues and requests from both internal and external stakeholders.Providing ER/IR advice in response to employment issues and grievances raised on projects or within teams. Taking a lead in rolling out activities and programs such as HRIS implementations, social & industry inclusion initiatives.About you Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business discipline.Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a general Human Resources role.Construction industry understanding is highly desirable.You must be willing to travel between our project sites in Adelaide.Demonstrated stakeholder management experience with high level problem-solving skills and the ability to think flexibly to develop solutions to meet business needs.Exceptional organisational and time management skills.Don't tick all the boxes but you're still excited about this opportunity?
