Job OverviewSeveral Occupational Therapists required for hospital-based roles in the Northern Territory. You will join a team of 60 allied health clinicians, including other Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Social Workers, Chaplains, and ALOs. Contract DetailsDecember/January start – 6 month contractAccommodation available + travelAcute/Rehab/Hand Therapy available Position OptionsP2 or P3 level – acute focus: The caseload is adult-based and may be tailored to suit experience including Renal, Ortho, Surgical, General Medical, ED, ICU, Stroke, and Palliative Care.
P2 or P3 level – rehab focus: For a variety of conditions including Neuro, Stroke, Amputee, Ortho, Medical, Brain Injury.
Hand Therapy: There is also scope for hand therapy to be part of the caseload if you have an interest in this area.
Team EnvironmentJoin this large allied health team, including some of my other locums. All have extended their time with this hospital. The team is inclusive and social. There is support and supervision available.
85% of the caseload is indigenous, with 50% coming in from remote communities. I've had great feedback from my current locums, and this is a great chance to develop your skill set. If you like the outdoors, the lifestyle here is fab!
Compensation and BenefitsP1 or P2 award rates up to $105,445 + super per annum depending on experienceP3 award rates up to $121,738 + super per annum depending on experienceReturn travel reimbursed at completion of six month contract (with receipts)Accommodation available starting at $140 per weekEnjoy salary packaging, 6 weeks annual leave per annum and 3 weeks personal leave per annum (pro rata basis for 6 month contract), monthly flexible day negotiated with managerFull-time hours, Monday - Friday6 month commitment preferred.
