We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Hook-up and Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Perth, Western Australia on a 24 month fixed term contract.
About The RoleReporting to the Hook-up and Commissioning Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and driving all hook-up and commissioning activities for offshore works relating to Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls and Telecoms, whilst ensuring safety, quality, and project schedule.
The role will initially be based in the Perth CBD office, with the offshore phase commencing Q3 in 2025.
Your key responsibilities:
Develop and execute project schedulesOversee offshore manning plans, review and estimateLead and guide team membersDrive QHSE behaviours and culture to meet targetsEnsure hazard assessments and job safety analysis are completedManage and communicate scope and schedule requirements effectivelyLiaise and coordinate with offshore and onshore teams to drive project schedulesAssign resources and expedite work packages to meet deadlinesEnsure all necessary resources, materials and tools are availableInput and review of man hour/duration estimates for offshore scheduleInterface with SURF for combined/interface activitiesExpedite procurement and logisticsReview supplier documentation for FAT/SAT proceduresLiaise with client commissioning focal points for technical discussionsOrganise and implement pre-commissioning and commissioning HAZIDMonitor and execute punch list closureAttend progress / information / action meetingsProvide input and estimation for VO creation and submittalsInput to completions processes and site execution processesAbout YouWe'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant trade certificationTBOSIET, MSIC & CAEB training (current)Offshore medical required for contractorsProven track record of planning, preparing and executing offshore hook-up and commissioning scopes and/or shutdownsDemonstrated knowledge of multidiscipline specifications, rules and regulationsProven track record in managing multidiscipline teams of offshore workersSound commercial acumenFamiliar with blue collar industrial relations managementMinimum 8 years experience in Offshore Oil & Gas construction projectsStrong greenfields offshore facilities, construction and commissioning experienceEffective QHSE leadershipProficient with managing schedule changesExperience with materials, tools and consumables identification, definition and requisitioningExperienced in PTW and hazard assessmentWe offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people.
