Senior Hire Controller

Tutt Bryant Hire is one of Australia's leading hire companies with branches across Australia.
We provide plant and equipment hire to a variety of industries from general earthmoving, civil construction, mining and rail maintenance; industrial services and tradies.
We are seeking an experienced person for the position of Senior Hire Controller based out of our Beresfield branch, this is a 2.I.C role reporting to the Branch Manager.
As Senior Hire Controller you will also be required to work seamlessly with other staff and demonstrate constructive leadership qualities and uphold business standards working to achieve a common goal.
You must have excellent communication and time management skills, good phone manner and show attention to detail.
This role will involve face to face customer interaction and a high volume of phone communication dealing with various client, subcontract and internal relations.
Daily Duties Planning and scheduling the timely delivery and collection of the hire fleet Generate, maintain and process hire agreements for plant equipment Maintain company procedures ensuring a high degree of accuracy and compliance is achieved with maintenance practices and supply of equipment Receive and professionally handle inbound calls with a high level of customer service General administration duties Follow protocol & uphold company standards To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate the following:
Experience working with either Plant and Equipment; Fleet Allocation; Procurement or purchasing roles.
(Hire Industry experience highly regarded and desirable). Have high attention to detail and sound computer skills Be customer focused and have the ability to work unsupervised Highly efficient time management and problem-solving skills Sound geographical knowledge of Newcastle – Beresfield (Central Coast) and surrounding areas Forklift ticket highly desirable (or willing to obtain) Can do attitude and prepared to take on a challenge.
