Senior Health Professional Mental Health Child & Adolescent Location: Perth

WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Mental Health Central Office (MHCO) are seeking suitably experienced health professionals to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team. This vacancy is for Permanent appointment at various hours per fortnight.
We currently have 2.0 FTE (Full Time Equivalent) available. Position Profile: Senior Mental Health Professionals are responsible for providing a timely and specialised clinical mental health service to children and adolescents in community, emergency department and inpatient settings.
Services may be in person or provided using audio-visual and telephone modalities.
The SMHP will conduct comprehensive assessments and provide therapeutic or crisis intervention to children and adolescents (0-18 years), including their families and carers.
You will be working closely with the seven regional CAMHS services across WACHS to coordinate and facilitate timely, responsive and accessible care to our communities.
Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process.
Referees may also be asked to comment on an applicant's integrity and past demonstration of ethical behaviour.
Please note this recruitment process requires completion of satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA).
Any offer of employment with WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is conditional on satisfactory PEHA to ensure you are able to perform the inherent requirements of the position.
An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in the offer of employment being withdrawn.
