Menzies is looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement activities in our Timor Leste office. If this sounds like you, join our team to help make a difference. The Role: The successful candidate for this role will lead the procurement activities of the Fleming Fund Country Grant to Timor-Leste program including annual and contracting for medicines, consumables and reagents.
The Senior Health Procurement Specialist will support the Timor-Leste office to ensure the consistent supply of quality health commodities. These organisations will include the National Institute of pharmacy and medical products (INFPM) which is the Timor-Leste National Medical Stores, National Health Laboratory, Animal Health Laboratory as well as Menzies School of Health Research offices in Darwin and Dili.
About you: As a motivated individual, you will come with previous experience in a procurement or supply chain position combined with a very good knowledge of supply change management and a track record of exceptional communication skills, leadership, and staff supervision experience with robust impact.
You also have:
Undergraduate qualifications in health, procurement or supply chain, or an equivalent combination of proven relevant experience and /or education and training. Demonstrated strong leadership skills and experience in staff supervision including the ability to negotiate and maintain formal and informal networks and business relationships. Exceptional communication skills, negotiation and liaison skills, a positive attitude and a commitment to building capacity and capability in others. The benefits: Base Salary $110,478 - $120,319 per annum (Total remuneration package including superannuation $137,167 - $148,386 per annum). Generous leave provisions including 6 weeks annual leave.
