Central Metropolitan Joint Child Protection and Response Program, Strawberry Hills
What you'll be doing: This position manages all Health components of the Joint Child Protection Response Program (JCPRP) in partnership with the JCPRP Interagency partners, NSW Police and Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) within the Central Metropolitan JCPRP Team.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Relevant qualification in Clinical Psychology, Social Work or Counselling. For Social Work and Counsellor demonstrated experience as a Level 2 or above. For Clinical Psychology, a Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology from an APAC Accredited University with current AHPRA registration and for Social Worker, eligibility for membership with AASW.Understanding of Health service therapeutic responses to sexual assault, physical abuse, neglect of children and demonstrated skills as well as experience in providing therapeutic responses to victims.Demonstrated capacity to work in partnership with key multidisciplinary and interagency stakeholders and to lead the development of therapeutic responses to meet demands and client needs in a multi-agency context.Understanding of the legislation, Government policies, including NSW Health policies as well as legal issues surrounding sexual assault and the physical abuse and neglect of children.Tentative Interview Dates: 18 November 2024
