Our highly specialised Health Business Banking team is looking for an experienced Senior Business Banker or Senior Relationship Manager to join them in managing and growing a portfolio of customers.
This role is a customer interfacing role which proactively manages customer relationships and meets their needs by providing fully integrated financial service solutions through the most cost-effective and appropriate channels.
Critical to the success of this role is the ability of the Manager to develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to grow their portfolio with new customers.
As the Senior Health Banking Manager, you will: Develop a structured sales approach through a needs analysis approach to frame and drive meaningful customer conversations which deepen the relationship and drive customer satisfaction and referrals across the internal and external networks. Utilise NAB's CRM to record your activities, sales opportunities, and specialist referrals through to completion. Assist in the writing, processing, and drawdown of lending proposals. Proactively manage your personal development and that of your peers and support team. Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to processes and procedures pertinent to the role; and escalate events, issues, or breaches as they are identified. Work collaboratively with team members. What you will bring: Business Development/Sales/Client Acquisition and/or Operations Growth Management, ideally within Banking or Financial Institutions, and/or equivalent professional experience in a related career, highly desirable if in Health Sector. Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment, and control experience. A curious mindset in seeking out opportunities to increase share of wallet for customers in the portfolio. Proven capability in managing complex client relationships and driving client advocacy. Demonstrated tenacity and resilience to increase enterprise value driven by working closely with and maintaining strong agreed strategy with the Business and Private Bank. Ability to build and maintain effective and constructive working relationships with a range of senior internal and external stakeholders.
