As part of this role you will manage and support all aspects of Health and Safety on the HumeLink project, being responsible for compliance with Transgrid's relevant health and safety legislation, whilst also influencing others to adopt practices that improve H&S performance and culture in the workplace.
This position is predominantly a site-based role embedded within a specific project team and reports to the H&S Manager HumeLink.
Skills & Experience Tertiary qualifications at degree or associate diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent relevant experienceSafeWork NSW "White Card"Extensive, relevant Transmission industry and/or large construction/infrastructure project experience in H&S rolesA comprehensive knowledge of the requirements of H&S legislative agencies, relevant legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and GuidelinesA comprehensive understanding of H&S systems and programs as well as Risk Management principlesDemonstrated experience in H&S auditing and capability in the implementation of AS 4801 and ISO 45001High level of conceptual and problem-solving skillsA high level of oral and written communication skillsWell-developed and demonstrable presentation and report writing skillsCompetent in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office applicationsRecognition & Reward In return for your hard work, we have numerous benefits and initiatives to support you personally and professionally including but not limited to private health insurance discount, motor vehicle lease plan, career development support, study assistance program, and workplace flexibility.
