- This is an interesting and varied role operating in a dynamic organisation. The QAS is accountable for the delivery of pre-hospital ambulance response services, emergency and non-emergency pre-hospital patient care and transport services, inter-facility ambulance transport, casualty room services, and planning and coordination of multi-casualty incidents and disasters.
- You will work across a wide range of health and safety topics including hazard and risk management, employee health, complex injury/case management, workers' compensation matters, workplace health and safety governance and assurance.
- Providing strategic and technical advice in the delivery and implementation of the QAS workplace health and safety management system, you will build our leaders capabilities to achieve safety leadership and performance.
- Through active coaching, leading and supporting you will engage stakeholders to ensure health and safety risks are monitored and managed through evidence-based practice and risk management approaches, that safe systems of work are implemented to ensure legislative compliance, and the highest practicable level of health and safety performance within the region is achieved.
